Marlyn "Tink" Westerbeck, 94, Holiday, Florida, formerly Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019. He was born February 13, 1925 in New London to Joseph and Elsie Bauer Westerbeck. November 7, 1945, he married Ruth Kinney. She died in 2001. He was a graduate of New London High School and was of the Baptist faith. He and Ruth owned and operated Bayview Antiques and Collectibles of New Port Richey until 1995. Mr. Westerbeck is survived by two sons, Ronald of Wayland, IA and Randy of Hudson, Florida; one daughter, Linda Kay Bolick of New Port Richey, Florida; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Stanley; one sister Elizabeth Shafer; two brothers, Raumas and N.J. "Steve" Westerbeck; and son-in-law, Joe Bolick. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at Elliott Chapel, New London with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Reverend David Mixon will officiate. Burial will follow at Burge Cemetery, New London. A memorial has been established for HPH Hospice, New Port Richey, Florida. Online condolences may be left at www.elliottfuneralchapel.com.
