Panther bowling swept in Ottumwa

OTTUMWA — The Mt. Pleasant bowling teams bowled in Ottumwa on Tuesday in a non-conference road meet. The Panthers lost in both the boys’ meet and girls’ meet. The boys had a total pinfall of 2,279. The girls finished with 1,964.

The boys’ team was led by Levi Mills, who shot a 181 in his first game and a 180 in his second game to finish at 361. Ethan Oilar rolled a 209 and a 146 to finish the day at 355, and Sam Anderson bowled a 175 and a 154 to finish at 329.

Owen Steinhoff rolled a 140 and a 148 to finish the day at 288. Mark Steinhoff rolled a 148 and a 132 to end at 280, and Logan White rolled a 132 and a 151 to finish at 285.

Baker games for the varsity boys went 118, 165k 123k 124 and 133.

Alexis Wohlleber rolled a 299 to lead the girls’ team. She rolled a 121 in her first game and a 178 in her second game. Gillian Anderson rolled a 135 in her first game and a 138 in her second game to finish out at 273. Danna Wilson rolled a 133 and a 136 to end at 269.

Arlouny Phosy rolled a 120 and a 118 to finish the day at 238. Medow Jensen rolled a 131 and a 93 to score 224. Alex Hedgecock rolled a 118 and a 77 to end the day at 195.

Baker games for the varsity girls went 127, 144, 122, 114 and 154.

The girls’ junior varsity team had four bowlers. Addy Buffingotn led the way with 220 (119, 101). Jordan Alpara finished at 189 (95, 94). Jackie Tansey rolled a 115 (67, 48), and Cheyenne Kracht finished at 107 (41, 66).

The JV girls rolled five baker games as well, despite playing against no opponent. Those games went 62, 95, 61, 89 and 113.

Three JV boys bowled. Damien Kracht led the JV team with a 231 (126, 105). Justin Alldredge rolled a 206 (68, 138) and Payton Lovan finished at 155 (101, 54).

Baker games for the JV boys went 103, 146, 95, 94 and 116.
